First of all welcome to my website. I don't know if you can feel my excitement, but I am truly excited about starting my own business, launching my own website and writing my first blog for you to read and hopefully find enjoying.!!! That is why the first topic for my blog is excitement!
As new mothers everything was exciting, our new baby, being a new mom, as well as watching everything our baby did with wonder. Then as the exhaustion starts to take over and our daily life becomes a non-stop row of chores, the excitement in our lives starts to disappear. Let's face it, being a mom is a very demanding job with no benefits, no days off, no vacation and very little or no sleep for that matter. Whether you a working mom or stay home mom there are definite challenges to be faced.
So what can we do to keep that excitement about being a mom alive when times get rough? Just like every good executive: delegate!!! Yes, get the help you need somehow so that you can take care of yourself ! There are so many possibilities to get help: family, friends, neighbors, spouses, childcare, au pairs, nannies, etc.... There are possibilities no matter what your financial situation is, you just have to be open to receiving some help. You don't have to do it all on your own!!!
When you get on the plane what does the flight attendant tell you? Put the mask on yourself before you put it on your child. So, if you take care of yourself by getting some help which will relieve you, you will be able to take better care of your child!!
That's when the excitement comes back into your life! Not only will you be in a better place and enjoy your life to the fullest but your children will be in a better place because of it.
I find life to be a never ending opportunity for happiness and that everyone has the right to find and live their perfect life! That is reason enough to be excited in my books!
